Hi All, I'm starting to help my girlfriend find a used prius.... and I'm really looking forward to all the good info in the forum here! We're looking for either a 2nd or 3rd gen... hoping to find a good deal. I need to read more about the differences between each model, still. Anywho, wish me luck.
Not wanting to discourage you but to make sure you will be a happy owner. considering a Prius | PriusChat it is mostly about the Gen 2, the Traction Control on the Gen 3 is less annoying.
Have fun on the search and I hope you find a good one. (Consider that getting the most out of either Gen 2 or Gen 3 requires a shift in driving styles-->it took us both about a year to adapt to our 2012, but we may be slow learners!)
