http://www.rqriley.com/ Whether this will come to be remains a question, however, it is particularly interesting to me that this firm has chosen to use a carbon fiber body. This is something that I have been advocating on PC for quite some time. Seems that the answer to the "batteries not there" argument could easily be "reduce body weight by using carbon fiber." Not to mention, also, that extensive use of carbon fiber in a car's body could mean the end of corrosion problems, and, therefore, a vehicle with a body that outlasts the drive train components. But, we couldn't have that, could we? My guess is that the main reason Toyota is claiming "batteries not there yet for PHEV" is because they don't own the intellectual property for the batteries that other PC member say is there. Thanks to this site as the original source. All the best, Matthew
