With all the boards coming and going, I lost track of a post talking abut mounting an antenna (XM?) on the rear spoiler. I would try it out before drilling any holes. Most antennae require a ground plane to work correctly. This is usually supplied by the sheet metal of the car body. The spoiler, being plastic, surrounded by glass, may not work well.
Cool! I searched but "antenna" didn't find it a couple of days ago. The Pruis Board Gods must be having a bad week... Sounds like he didn't have any problems; a great stealth install!
Yes, I had no problems. One of my favorite mods. I'm planning on putting a TV and Sirius Antenna in there someday as well when those features become available. Nate
