is there any real difference between EV and ECO mode at parking lot speeds, ie <10mph ?

both seem to use just the battery at those speeds, so I'm putting my money down on "no difference"

EV makes a difference between 10'ish and 24. If the coolant temperature is above 155°F, you can push power into the WHITE zone without triggering the engine to restart.

ECO starts the engine back up anytime you surpass the GREEN.

The big difference would be when you start the car cold. In EV the engine usually won't start. In ECO it will always start to warm up the cat.

You can accelerate harder (As john1701a has shown in his screenshot) in EV Drive Mode. In ECO mode (or any other mode actually), the engine will fire up once you pass the halfway mark (once you exit the Hybrid ECO area of the Hyybrid System Indicator)
