Any way to Flash new OS/Software on 2010 JBL/NAV unit?

    Being in Los Angeles, I just can't take the traffic anymore and have found that Waze usually directs me much more efficiently than the OEM navigation. Other than that, I don't really have a problem with the system, though it clunky and has unnecessary features.

    I've found the Pumpkin 8" android unit, and it seems like a good choice, but I can't really spend the $350ish bucks right now.

    Is there any way to wipe the unit's hard drive and load in from scratch?

    It is just a computer, so it should be possible. Any Prius hackers out there?
