I never seen a good reason for tapatalk and I'm sick of the continuous bombardment to download it. The new priuschat layout works great on my nexus 7 in the default chrome browser. I thought the old one was OK as well.
If you guys are getting ads, you can simply block them from your browser with adblock. it's a browser extension. I use it on chrome, but I'm sure there's something similar in other browsers.
I am not sure it is available on Android tablets, but the new PriusChat does not seem to be as tapatalk crazy anyway
I'm using the old classic version of Tapatalk on my Android device and I like it. I use Chrome on the PC. SCH-I535
Despite its limitations, Tapatalk was superior to Safari on an iPhone if you wanted to reply on Priuschat. I guess I'll have to check out how Safari handles the new layout.
I'm getting tiered with it. It permits posts by those on my ignore list through but I do not need confirmation why I put them on that list. Also, it appears to first show stale cache entries before randomly going current. I am typing this in tapatalk just to confirm the problems. Bob Wilson
I really don't see the point in any of these apps. Just use a real phone with a real browser. On my droid (Samsung Note 3) the forum displays perfectly in a browser and I have no problem replying or typing anything. It is like being on any other computer.
On a mobile device, Tap a talk makes forum viewing much easier, no zooming in and out, latest posts available, etc. SCH-I535
Here's what it looks like. I don't zoom in and out, and I can get every feature. On the old software it worked just as well. This just looks more modern. Viewing a thread, and then the new posts:
