Hi there, I am from Toronto, Canada. It is evident that it is much easier and cheaper to get Prius in States. Did anyone import one, how did it go? What kind of money difference showed in bottom line? I imported bike month ago (Yamaha FZ6) and on 7700 total paid saved about 1800-1900 (would be about 9600 in Canada). Thanks, Zack
Many of us bought our cars in the US. I got mine in 2007, and have documented the entire process + required documents - check out numerous posts on my blog: The Mobile Net - From Useless to Useful - be sure to read comments as well. The process should be the same for '08 vehicles, with the possible complication of the immobilizer requirement, though that has been resolved (I think). Anyhow, read the posts, and then feel free to follow up with any questions.
