I made a few custom Prius shift knobs and would like to make some rectangular or round labels to stick on top of them or on the console near the shift knob. I'm thinking of using Arizona Sonorian Iron wood, which I saw a lot of in Arizona and California years, ago. I like aluminum and stainless, but it gets cold to the touch in the Winter and hot in the Summer. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Rude person's
There's only one problem. The shaft on the shifter is formed by thread forming dies. It means that the starting point can be anywhere within the 360 degrees circle. Because, the screwed on knob has the same issue, JDM knobs for the Prius have a sticker that is place onto the top of the knob after it is installed. Unfortunately, it's for the right hand drive Prius. Since most users already know the shift pattern, a lot of them don't even install the sticker. The sticker would be information only for a valet or someone who is NOT familiar with the shift pattern on the Prius.
