I'm about to change my plugs and these are the ones offered. I read around in the forums a bit and found some debate on which plugs to use and the general consensus was to use the hotter new plug.

I'm just wondering, has anyone switched to this and noticed any difference in performance and/or issues with switching to these?

Toyota specd this plug. It’s slightly hotter than the original spec, that’s about all. I put a set on our ‘10 about a year back (at 12 year mark), haven’t noticed anything different, say engine sound/feel.

16 is the default heat range for most Toyota engine since my god I don't know 1968 or so there have been variations on the theme of plug from copper to other metals technologies Denso has been in the foreground of this technology for about 50 years or so now. I run the 16s in the one NZ and two ZZ in various and sundry denso flavors . I'm running TT in two cars now
