Just wondering... I do a lot of cross-country driving. Toyota (at least) has had thermal-imaging HUD's available in their vehicles marketed in Japan for about the last 4-5 (?) years I think. I'm not talking about the lame USA HUD concept--duplicate technical info displayed 'up front' (mpg, outside temp, speed, odometer, etc)-- I mean pure thermal imaging--one could drive without headlights with this system. Nice for detecting deer and LEO bushwackers on the interstates at night. Anyone know if there are any projections for when/if this option might be marketed in the USA?
