Hi anyone in Boston area have experience with removing the EGR cooler for cleaning? I have watched the Nuts About Bolts video, and though straightforward, I’m hesitant to tackle the job solo. Has anyone done this, and are willing to lend advice? I cleaned the pipe yesterday, and the engine feels slightly better, but I think my next task is to remove the cooler and valve for cleaning. My mechanic is ready to do it, but wondering if I can tackle it solo, maybe with some local help. Recent owner of 2012 v here, now with a high mileage wagon (193K) that has developed the rattles. Any tips also welcome.
