Sorry, this isn't a plug or spam. I read about it in the business section in the LA times. It's an organization that allows individuals to loan money to people in third world countries who are trying to start a business. $650 is the average amount of money needed, but you can loan as little as $25. It's not a donation. Nor is it a investment. Well at least not one where you'll make money. The money is paid back. The default rate is .3%. You get to monitor the progress online. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this?
Yup. Not only have I done it, my daughter is going to a birthday party this weekend where gifts are refused, and her friend is asking for money to loan through this system.
