To those familiar with our wacky winter weather: How does the Prius handle the ice/snow that we get? My driveway is steep, and once I back down I must go uphill immediately from a dead stop. Is this going to be possible? I really want to get a Prius, but this one issue gives me hesitation. Plus, can anyone recommend a great dealership around here? Costco is referring me to Gladstone Toyota. Thanks.
Sad no one answered this. Ditch the stock Goodyear integrities and get Nokian WR tires and it does great in fresh Portland snow up to 3 to inches deep. Much more and ground clearance becomes an issue.
