If this is not allowed or in the wrong forum, please excuse me. I'm trying to replace the headlight housing for my 2010 Prius 2 with halogen. Mine are very old, used, brown-ish and would like to get them replaced to see better. Anyone know of someone selling a used OEM pair in good condition? Figured I'd ask before here first before buying aftermarket. Thanks!
Maybe try reconditioning/polishing the headlight covers? Much cheaper than replacing entire headlamp assemblies.
Yeah, I was thinking of reconditioning them too. Just not sure on how good they are. I've also seen people on intersections who polish the headlights but never tried them. Actually it's a family member's car now (used to be mine a year ago) so not sure how they got so bad.
Mine have gotten pretty bad to from having to park in direct sunlight for my undergrad. I polish them from time to time but they're definitely not like new anymore.
If you get them reconditioned, make sure they apply a UV protectant to the plastic after it is cleaned/polished, or it will yellow again.
