I just finally recently got the brake recall applied to my car with its 10000 mile maintenance and they must have reset the computer which reset all of my settings back to default. I have everything set back to the way that I like with the exception of the Average consumption screen. It was set at 5 min before and now it is set for 1 minute. I was wondering if there was a way for me to change it instead of having to go back to the dealer to change it. Is it possible to change that screen completely to average mpg over the past mile instead of time? I never understood why would you want to know what your average was over the past 5 min versus over the past 5 miles. There are way too many ways to trick the system with the time setting versus the actual miles driven average. Thanks for the replies in advance.
Hold down the DISP button for 5 seconds in the average consumption screen, it should toggle between 5 min/1min. I don't believe there is.
