I own a 2018 Prius V, which was a Canada-only release of the V (U.S. stopped at 2017). It is time for my struts, ball joints, and sway bar linkages to be replaced. Problem is that Rockauto's 2017 Prius V section for parts has A LOT more selection than their 2018 Prius V section, which they've kindly noted with a tiny Canadian flag. I want to buy 2017 parts not only because that year's section has so much more choice, but certain parts like struts aren't even listed on Rockauto for that year at all. Are 2017 Prius V parts interchangeable with 2018 Prius V? From what I have researched they most are, but I just won't to make sure.
I would guess they are but you might ask https://www.toyotapartsdirect.ca/ the question directly. Or a dealer.
All parts should be interchangeable. There is no change between the two models... The 2018 is a continuous carryover of the 2017 model. 2017 was the last refresh of the Prius v.
