A bit chilly this morning, on my way to work, the ugliest of all uglies appears on my dash. Yes, none other than: Well, something like that anyway. Yup, down to the 37 (F) mark </span></span>

god i miss the upper midwest. the snowflake light in september, just after a really hot couple of days, sounds about right.

Yeaahhh Minni-soootans! Wait 5 minutes it will change again! Took my whole 5 minute commute to get the back window to defrost. Still no jacket though! Gotta wait as long as possible to resort to jacket wearing. It helps acclimate you for the cold November mornings in the deer stand and the 10 below weather in January!

But then, maybe you don't live in an area where that's a concern. Still, if you haven't seen it, you better get in to the dealer's shop right away. It would be awful to encounter the tule fog and not have your car warn you about it.

We have been spared the tule fog for several years now, I wonder if we can thank GW for that (seriously) or if some other factor has contributed? I remember back 10-15 years ago when we had around 30 or 30+ straight days in the fog with no sunlight and while the GPS doesn't help you see in the fog at least it helps you by indicating when the next intersection or curve in the road is coming up.
