I found this pro-prius article while I was poking around. It's about as positive as I've seen. There are also some rather interesting emmissions comparisons at the end.
That article is almost 3 years old! And there were a plethora of articles just like that for the first year after the 2G Prius came out. Then the press got bored and wanted to mix things up and that's when we started to see the 'dark side of hybrids' articles. The emissions stuff is straight out of the Toyota Press packet for the Prius.
