I know EV is not available at very hot and cold temperatures. Could I know that at what temperature of hybrid battery EV is non functional. I am in Asia. My car has Li-ion battery. Today I found at 97F or more, EV is not available.
You have the battery in the center next to the driver. You mean the inside cabin temperature reaches 97 F? I can maybe tolerate 78 F that is way too hot! REVVL V+ 5G ?
Yes, my battery is under centre console. 97F is not cabin temperature. Its hybrid battery temperature showed by dr Prius app. Cabin temperature was 77°F.
It has 92.6k km. Some old thread of Prius chat exampled when outside temperature rose to100F, Prius 3rd Gen EV become non-functional. The problem started when outside temperature at 100.4°F.
