Audi DRL mod?

So I've seen lots of threads of people using LED strips or boxes to make DRLs by cutting away part of the grill.

But I haven't run across someone who used strips of flexible superbright LEDs to make a look similar to the Audi's.

Has anyone done this? Are there threads here I missed with examples? I love that look and it would be fun to get DRL's with such a unique look.
