Audi Plans $30 Billion Investment Through 2018, Will Expand Model Range to 60 Cars

I guess Audi had a change of heart.

I'm wondering if that affected their share price or something. We've had lots or tv commercials here about the Audi E-tron, how it's the future, how amazing it is and that it's not going to be available for another 10 months. Hmmm, why spend ALL that money on a car that will only sell in small numbers and won't be available for nearly a year?

BMW's recent release of the i3 me thinks

 

these press releases are all about stock prices. same thing happens to the market when the president makes a faux pas, and then corrects himself awhile later. what car has ever been touted to be the next amazing thing, and then has gone on to prove itself in taking ahuge market share? it doesn't happen.

 

i must say, is de nysschen old enough to have been a nazi?

How do you keep quality up with so many models and how do you sell enough of each model for the model to be profitable? Wasn't it model proliferation that occurred just when Toyota's quality took a sharp slide? Wasn't it too many brands and too much duplication that got the big-3 automakers of the US in trouble?
