If only someone could come up with hacking the auto park feature on the Prius... <_< I saw this feature in action on CNET and on Youtube. Kewl! It's a 700 buck add-on feature in Europe, so I wonder if it is already built into the car? Especially since the steering wheel is electric and is computer controlled. Sensors? Probably added into rear bumber? Or, maybe the computer software just recognizes obstacles through rear camera? Oh, what a wonderful thing it would be if this was already incorporated into the U.S. Prius! Wishful thinking... Vince.
You need to buy an ECU and a few other parts for it to work on the US Prius. Way too expensive to do.
What about other less radical Nipponese-only parts, like the folding mirrors, distance sensors or others?
