Now I suppose all you car experts out there already knew this, but for those who don't. . . During a recent cold (below zero) cold spell in Wisconsin, I noticed that Auto-up & Auto-down for the driver's window on my 2007 quit working. When I mentioned this to the mechanic at a Toyota dealer's welcome event for new owners, he told me that I could probably "fix" it by holding the "up" button until the window was closed & then continuing to hold the button firmly in the "up" position for 5-10 seconds. I did - and dang if he wasn't right. He said that the window may have frozen & when the "auto" feature meets resistance it will sometimes forget how to work. Holding the button as I described "reminds" the button how it's supposed to work. Hey, it's all magic to me! All I know is that it works now.
