Has anyone had an "autostart" brand starter installed in a 2010 Prius? Is it very reliable and consistent? Will it start the vehicle if the temperature is below -16 C/ 3 F? A very experienced install tech highly recommended the autostart brand over the Viper 5301 model I wanted to install. I've read most of the threads here and have never heard the autostart brand mentionned. Is their any remote starter that works consistently at starting when the temperature is between -16 C/ 3 F and -35 C/ -31 F? If the answer is NO then I won't waste money on a starter! Thanks for any input/advice from people living in cold climates.
