So, I ran an autotrader.com instant trade-in evaluator on my 2009 pack5 at 14,800 miles, pristine .... email comes back with a figure of ....... $13,000 What ... a ... joke. what an insult. Any dealer would turn straight around and slap a tag of well over $20k on my car in the Bay area. Dublin Toyota, asking $21,000 for p5 with 28k miles. pfffft. I've made spreadsheet of dealer asking prices on 2009's from CL and autotrader ... 35k miles asking ... $17,775 avg price on CL, almost every car is a pack2 34k miles , $18,300 asking on autotrader all but 2 ads is package 2, not 5 They don't call them stealerships for nothing. If I don't get my price on PP, I take out the s&%t stock seat and drive it another year. Insane driving with stock seat. I swear I'm looking straight ahead at the sun visors. This car is like a bad marriage ... can't get rid of it unless you part with 1/2 of your assets.
