I want to add a small dashboard that displays more details than the Prius center mounted display. I have a '16 Touring model that has a lot of neat displays as I scroll through the different settings. But, I'm looking for more. Things like engine temp, RPM, oil pressure, voltage - things that I used to take for granted when I was driving my Volvo or GM. I watch shows like "Hotrod Garage" or "Bitch'in Rides", and they have multi-thousand dollars digital dashboards in their cars. I don't want that. I want something that is smaller, but lets me select from different sensors for what is displayed. If not a specific recommendation, how about some advice on what I connectivity I should be looking for. Is it ODB2? CAN? In the Prius, where is the best data coming from?
