does anyone know if the aux jack next to the charger/radio usb carry video? I installed a Pioneer DMH-1500NEX with a idatalink maestro TO2 harness. The harness has a red/white/ and "yellow" RCA end. My radio has an AUX input as well as an audio/video input. The harness retains the AUX input, but with that "yellow" RCA, I'm curious whether the AUX input carries audio. Does anyone know?
I doubt it. Time and expense, plus additional wiring, and incompatibility with some 3.5mm stereo leads, for a feature that isn't used? Pop the socket out of the fascia. If it has 3 wires it's Ground, Left Audio, and Right Audio. If it has 4 wires then one may be video.
