Is there a temperature sensor on the auxiliary battery? I replaced my 2012 Prius C auxiliary battery with a Harbor Freight battery, but didn't see any temperature sensor. Just want to make sure I did't ignore it.
It's thing 9 here. Not really part of the battery, just near it. As long as it's still there and plugged in, it's good.
This diagram is for Prius C, not Prius, right? I don't remember seeing anything with wires attached except the main cables.
Yes, it's from this page: https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-thermo-sensor-2886521020
Nads of steel...as in... Big balls Steel balls Brass balls No guts no glory Big kahonas No fear YOLO AAA is for chickens I'm sure I missed some more that are similar As in..I wouldn't buy a double A battery from Harbor Freight, much less something I absolutely need to rely on to make sure my car powers up when needed or when the wife needs it or the kid needs it. But, I try to play it safe for those scenarios. I leave the "ballsy" stuff to others. Pretty sure Harbor Freight sells tires also.
