Does the Prius only come with two nylon screws to attach the back plate? It seems that it will allow the plate to rub the paint? Any suggestions? -Lee
[font=Comic Sans MS:2076eb953f]Yes. Ignore any screws and hardware you got from the dealer for your back plate. Go to your favorite auto supply store and look there for license plate hardware. The holes in the hatchback are for machine screws, with close, even threads. Take the nylon one you got for comparison. Det some metal screws. I got some screws with a hex head and a pin in the center, to make plate removal more difficult for vandals. If you don't use a frame, and even if you do, get some rubber/plastic feet or foam weatherstripping at a hardware store and put it on the back of the plate. When you tighten your new screws, it will pull the plate snug so it won't vibrate, making noise and scratching the paint.[/font:2076eb953f]
