With the front seats right back, the Gen 2 has much more rear leg seat room. BUT The front seat of the Gen 2 doesn't move far back at all and the Gen 4 does. If the front seats of both are set for similar driver positions, I suspect that the Gen 4 will have at least as much rear seat space The answer might differ depending on the driver the car is set up for so the best way is to sit front then back in both cars and check based on your body dimensions and seating preferences.
I'm wedged in between roof and seat in the Gen 4 in the back (6'3"). Gen 2 has slightly more headroom. Nothing beats a Gen 2 in legroom except a Maybach 62... (They should have made the screens bigger at that distance )
