Well it turns out this was just a refresh and VW was trying to draw attention to the good news of the Passat: The 2016 Volkswagen Passat Fixes The Old Passat's Biggest Flaw, But That's About It Published October 26, David Tracy the reporter had a little fun at VW's expense. It was also the most professional write-up giving a good description of the updated Passat. The sad thing is VW dealers can not get enough Passats that are barely keeping the lights on.
