I am using Prius C 2012 model which is Gen-III. Now I am getting the problem with the battery. After diagnosis, it was detected that block 4 & 8 have problems. I like to change those but some experts say that I should replace all the batteries at a time as others will show the same problem after few days. Please suggest what to do.
personally I dont have experience, but from what I have read its normal practice to replace the defective cells. Thereafter the battery is balanced. I am sure some seniors will shed more light.
Welcome to Prius Chat . Some questions: How many miles on your c? Does Bangladesh had any type of warranty on the hybrid battery? Do you have a complete list of all codes displayed? Would you be changing the modules out yourself, or have someone else do that? Keep us posted .
