I have a portable jumper battery with a built-in air pump and trouble light. It is good insurance as long as you remember to keep it charged

Yes, you can get a jump. There is a "jump post" inside the engine fuse box. You must be "very, very careful" to be sure the polarity is correct or you could damage some very expensive electronics.

Read your Owner's Manual about how to do this.

    You can jump start a G3 with a 12-volt dewalt battery....IIRC.

You're not "starting" the car, you're booting it up, therefore even the most diminutive "jump start" gizzywhopper that you can get at Wal-Mart will probably serve you just fine.
They're cheap, and they have the advantage of having a light, veeeery wimpy compressor, and (sometimes) a USB charging port.

    Good Luck!

I picked up one of these a few years back, when I needed to periodically start a stored car with a dead battery:

It would fit in the hatch area underfloor tray, but I'm reluctant to keep it there constantly: it's around 16 lb's. But good insurance if you need to park the car somewhere for an extended period, say at an airport.
