I've been wondering what the car reports as far as miles/kWh - from the battery or from the wall. Last night I drove 32.6 miles on a full battery and had 0.7 miles remaining reported when I got home. The reported efficiency was 5.3 miles/kWh. (32.6 miles + 0.7 miles) / 5.3 miles/kWh = 6.3 kWh. Recharging from the wall on 120V uses about 6.3kWh according to my Kill A Watt. This would seem to indicate two things: The car reports efficiency from the wall. My battery hasn't measurably degraded is 12,000 miles of mostly EV driving.
