Has any one had any success in swapping their 3rd gen NiMh battery with a plug in or 4th gen battery? I was going to make it a DIY project on a long weekend if it wasn't completely impossible. Just the battery swap not coverting into a plug in. Thanks in advance for any replies, Cheers!
nimh for nimh, or lion? you probably have several issues. one being the power rating, another the software, and then there's the whole physical size and shape, where it's under the rear seat now. you're gonna need more than a long weekend. have you found a gen 4 salvage? but to answer your question, no, it hasn't been done. we need a missionary!
