<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(yellow cab @ Aug 10 2007, 05:21 AM) </div> I think you are talking about the Electric engines/generators: All models from 2004 and up have 2 of them, Mg1 about 15 Kw and MG2 50 Kw. Battery gives 201.6 volts, 6.5 Ah. If incorrect, please feel free to correct
Basically correct. The battery in the 04 and 06 should be the same. They are about 1.3 kw-hrs. The "Motor" is 50 kw at 1200 to 1540 RPM for both years. The "Motor" also is rated at 82 kw at 85 km/hr or higher. I think this is for both motors running. Max. torque is rated at 400 N-m at 0 to 1200 RPM. I think this is limited by the electronics to protect the battery (battery current limited). The difference in mileage will be influenced by: Tire type. Tire pressure. Temperature. Climate control system settings. Vehicle weight. Are you carrying more now? Driving style. Are you more aggressive now? Fuel. Does your fuel now contain ethyl alcohol and didn't before? Lots of factors to consider. Most probable cause is the fuel, with other factors also adding in. Your govt. has mandated 10% ethanol fuel.
