Beep at power off

    Recently the car beeps when I turn it off. Is this a signal of low FOB battery or something else? Thanks!

    Maybe but isn't a message supposed to appear on the display when it detects that ??

    I will occasionally open the drivers door before hitting power off and it beeps when I do that.

    Yes, the beeps are your battery weak warning. No, never got a warning on the MFD. You have about 2-3 weeks before it stops working and then it'll be time to use the FOB slot. I just went through this exact situation with my 2007, except I waited too long. A bit of a pain because it wouldn't let me lock the car when exiting. Go ahead and install a new battery now. CR2032 I believe.
