In case anyone's got an hour and a half to spare, here's Leonardo DiCaprio's documentary on climate change.
It's a little preachy at times, but seeing glaciers melting in Greenland is definitely an eye opener. They also show Miami flooding, and they have to build pumps to get the excess seawater out. Meanwhile the governor and senator insist climate change is a hoax. Of course it's easy to dismiss that stuff when you're not smacked in the face with it like poorer people and people living near the oceans are subjected to. Or breathing down dark brown smog that irritates your lung and throats for merely breathing it in like in China.
i don't really like the scare tactics either, although, since nothing else is working, maybe they feel that's their only alternative. the science is just way over most people's heads. i suppose it's like trump and clinton, tough to change people's minds, and most tactics just enforce original beliefs.
