Source: Tesla Files For All Chapters Of Bankruptcy FYI, here is the target: Tesla Is On The Verge Of Bankruptcy - Vilas Capital | Seeking Alpha By VW Staff . . . I think Tesla is going to crash in the next 3-6 months, partially due to their incompetence in making and delivering the Model 3, partially due to falling demand for the Model S and X, partially due to the extreme valuation, partially due to their horrendous finances that will imminently require a huge capital raise, partially due to a likely downgrade of their credit rating by Moody's from B- to CCC (default likely) which should scare their parts suppliers into requiring cash on delivery (a death knell), partially due to the market's recent falling appetite for risk, and partially due to our suspicions of fraudulent accounting activities, evidenced by 85 SEC letters/investigations and two top finance people leaving in the last month. We are doubtful that they can raise a meaningful sum in the face of these material issues. If the fall happened quickly, it could add substantially to the Fund (+30 to +50%), in part due to our purchase of put options. Tesla, without any doubt, is on the verge of bankruptcy. . . . For this reason, and the fact that our main holdings are at give away prices after the market fall, I am personally adding $500,000 to the Fund April 1. For those who have the ability to and choose to add at this time, I believe high returns will result over the next few years. <snicker>"VW Staff", what a poor choice. Bob Wilson ps. I have no financial association with either Tesla or Vilas Capital. But I am amused.
But I kind of liked the T-Mobile Sidekicks. Someone there had to have seen "Get Smart" when they were kids. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
While I think the April 1 joke was humorous in itself, Tesla's bad press over the recent accident, the continuing model 3 woes, their stock down 100 points (and lingering there!), one can say that Musk's timing with this is sadly unfortunate and reckless. I am a fan of what he has accomplished, but this is a new low, even for a jokester like Elon.
Tesla stock was and may still be over priced. Only bitcoin was (is) worse because it makes no product. But I think a bigger picture is needed. On Monday, another Falcon 9 launch of a reused, Dragon spaceship. The first stage was not recovered but used for another landing test at sea. The next Falcon 9 series, block 5, is expected to be man certified. SpaceX continues to work on flaring recovery, the only ones doing this with history of booster recovery. With block 5, the USA will be able to replace crew on ISS without paying the Russians and because of reuse, at an affordable rate. No one else is doing as much for reusable space flight. Until Tesla comes out with a range extended model, I won't be a customer. It is a great inter-City car but I need an inter-State car which they don't have, yet. The the block-to-block speed of the cannonball run pretty well shows the long-range BEV limits. Bob Wilson
I thought it was kinda' lame. The release of the optional powerstroke V6 diesel in the 2019 mustang? Now that one took me hook, line, and sinker to the very last line. Realistic numbers, quotes, and photos. Well played sirs, well played. Ford Announces Mustang Power Stroke Option for 2019 - CarBuzz
@4.... Better watch it Bob. The pronoun police are gonna git you..... This promises to be a great year for Space-X. Busy launch schedule!! Love the Tesla gag! Elon isn't normally the first person you think of when you see or hear "self deprecating" but he seldom passes on an opportunity to generate some clicks. Time will tell, but so far he's keeping the investors sated........sort of.....
