My car bra is shot and I'm going to remove most of the pieces after 16 years of it being on. I read that it can leave behind residue. Any particular products (like an anti-tar?) that I can use if it leaves sticky residue?
Use a cotton medium textured cloth and xylene wipe down that bra crap right off. Then after everything vaporizes and stabilizes you can wash it and use a McGuire's or some brand of clay type bar or a hybrid version thereof and then just buff it out and seal it or whatever should be good for a good minute I'm going down the road at a good clip the paint's going to start popping off the hood anyway somewhere around this kind of mileage it just happens but maybe not.
