I've seen several threads describing where people have placed their aftermarket BT microphones. The most popular appear to be: 1) Run it up to the headliner and install near the rear view mirror 2) Install in the dash, typically somewhere near the steering wheel My question: how do these (or other) locations compare? I've seen isolated complaints about "tunnel voice" etc... but no discussion of whether moving the mic helps at all. Anyone have some wisdom or experience to share? Thanks MUCH, Pete
I ran mine up the driver side a-pillar then through the headliner along the windshield. I clipped it in between the a-pillar and the rear view mirror. I've never had anyone complain about unnatural sound. Clipping it closer to the rear view mirror may reduce wind noise.
