I'm a stickler and actually like the trim rings. Craigslist turned up some beaters with broken tabs for $15. eBay has packs for $60-$80. Dealer wants $65 for one! Any have a lead for an alternative source?
I bought a full set of 4 off ebay for 32.00$. They are not OEM but I looked them over and compared them to the originals and could not detect a difference. So far, they have not come off in over 2 years of driving.
I looked but ended up just throwing all of them in the trash and not replacing them. They are a poor design anyway.
I wish it was but it is just the 100% stock 389 in my 66 GTO. The gas I save in my Prius goes pretty darn quick when I drive the Goat because 3 carburetors wide open is a blast to drive.
I pulled mine off and they've been sitting in the garage since. One of 'em has a bit of curb rash, but nothing's broken. Message me if interested, I'll let 'em go cheap.
