this may have been mentioned elsewhere but Ive found that the best use of EV mode is not the parking lot nor moving your car out of the garage, but in stop-n-go traffic--especially on the freeway. Obviously no one likes to get stuck in traffic but if you are EV mode it can save a fair amount of gas. Today i went for almost 2mi of stopngo freeway traffic-all in EV mode before taking my exit!
