Figured I should toss my information in: Date Ordered: April 15, 2004 Dealer Ordered From: Claremont Toyota, Claremont California Timeframe given for delivery: 2-3 months Color: Black Option Package: BC #9 (In 2005 units, BC #6) Your # on Dealer's Waiting List: Never did ask. Well, on August 4th I got confirmation that my car was coming in, and I'll be picking it up on the 23rd, although it should be in before that. My one minor hassle was asking for gray interior but getting tan, but no biggie. I could have waited a few more weeks and gotten it, but it had to be there on the 23rd. Also, I paid nothing over MSRP, nor did the dealer force any after factory options on me, even though other people buying from Claremont Toyota have reported paying over MSRP. I went through the internet sales department, so this might have something to do with it.
Christopher, how did you decide on Claremont given your location of New Orleans? That is quite a hike!
Decided on it because I'm going to college in Claremont. :mrgreen: The wait at the dealers here was 6-8 months, and 2-3 months there...so we really had to get it there, which made me quite happy, since I would much rather not make that drive! Of course, I must point out that I test drove the Prius the very first day our local dealer got their demo, and just did pricing for fun, since I knew I wouldn't be getting it then, and the wait was only 2-3 weeks. :mrgreen:
