I have the HDD display unit (Advanced). If I power on and don't click the legal disclaimer telling you to not drive over a cliff just because the Nav system directs you that way, the screen just goes black for a few minutes, and then the map comes up. I can select other screens normally, but the Map button has no effect. I have not found any way to get the map back without just waiting it out. Am I seeing the expected behavior?
I always let the legal disclaimer screen disappear on its own but have never noticed the screen going black for a few minutes. Is it taking over 120 seconds for the map to appear, or does it appear in less than 60 seconds?
