Black metal badges

    So in the past I coated my badges with a black coating only to have it chip away.

    Found some metal ones already black.

    You don't like the look of not having badges? I de-badge everything... Even my lawnmower has no badges or sticker, just a beautiful Teal & Purple custom paint job! :)

    Removing the fender badges will leave holes so I choose to replace with these.

    I do prefer badgeless , I had a 2004 Navigator which was badgeless from factory and custom buffalo suede interior.

    Consider replacing them with lights... VW in particular has some great front fender light designs that if run on LEDs can be wired up to your existing blinkers.

    There is an old thread or two around here by people who did exactly that on their Gen3s, removing the side badges and using the mounting holes as wiring holes for side turn signals.
