I am trying to transfer contacts (transfer Address book) on my Blackberry Curve 8330. On my Blackberry I select CAR M_MEDIA under Paired Devices in my Bluetooth in my Blackberry, then Select "Transfer Address Book" from menu and it does not work "Error is could not connect to server??". I did the same steps in my wife's KIA and it work fine "Contact transferred" no problem. Does anyone know how to make this work in my Prius?
Following the prompts from the car, I was able to transfer all of my contacts with no problem. I have an 8310 Curve. I'm assuming you paired your Curve to the car and are able to place and receive calls.
Have you selected Contact Transfer on the car side at the same time you are selecting Transfer Address Book on the phone side? The two have to be selected at the same time to synch.
