Forgive my enthusiasm but the Chicago Blackhawks just won their conference by sweeping a very talented San Jose Sharks in four very physical games. As I was attending a Chicago White Sox game today and watching my team get dismantled 13-0 by the Florida Marlins in 90 + degree weather, the Chicago Blackhawks lifted our spirits and are now one series away from winning Lord Stanley's Cup, an accomplishment not seen in Chicago since before the Cuban Missile Crisis. On the other side of town we still have a team that hasn't won the world series since Teddy Roosevelt was considering making healthcare reform a mandate...but that's a story for another time.
congratulations and good luck with LSC! i'm a brunes fan but it's good to see one of the old guard doing well. now let's stop picking on those cubbies, we had the same problem here for 86 years!
