Normally my side mirrors are tilted out to maximum to catch anyone in the blind spot. But I had to deliver some stuff on a bumper platform and had them tilted in to monitor the load. I had not tilted them out. The blind spot alarm went off as I was leaving the on ramp to the outside lane and another car was moving from the inside to the outside lane. I barely caught a glimpse of the passenger side in my tucked in mirror. The Tesla blind spot monitor worked and a collision avoided. I subsequently tilted the mirrors out. Bob Wilson
