We have had our 2006 Prius for just over 2 weeks and today, for the first time, noticed that the hybrid immobilization light blinks as soon as the car is shut off. This is even before a door is opened. We never saw that before. This is the dashboard light that is a car with a key in the middle. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Any reasons why we may not have seen it before? Thank you.
